Vestee as interpreted by Duckworth Vestee as interpreted by Duckworth

Pattern: Vestee, hoodie version| Knitty Spring 07 | smallest size
Yarn: Koigu Kersti, 4 skeins (maybe?)
Needles: US5 (I think?)
Modifications: I knit garter rib for the cuffs only, and the rest of the body in stockinette.

Dude. I completely forgot that I hadn't finished this.

It's been awhile since I've done any seaming, and it wasn't much. Upper part of the body was knit in the round, and it's peanut-sized. But. I think I really hate seaming.

I'll be mailing it out ASAP to its intended recipient who luckily is still very much a baby. Charlie will be going too. The poor thing has been has been folded in a fetal position for months now. Oops.

PS I loved working with the Kersti yarn. Soft like a bunny!

Coming soon...

All I need to do to finish Tate's sweater and get it - and Charlie - in the mail before Tate turns 30 is to do the miniscule amount of seaming necessary and to sew the collar to the front.

Hoodie

Peekaboo

I just keep putting it off!

I've got blue skies

And it's in my yarn.

Yummy yarn

I love Koigu Kersti

I have just been all over the place lately, especially knitting-wise. I finished a pair of socks, but not a matching pair, and then I picked up something new, so that's 4 different socks that I've started in the last couple of weeks.

Cannot. Focus.

Help.

I also started on this little number using Koigu Kersti, a yarn I have never used before.

Beginnings of a baby sweater

The beginnings of Tate's sweater

The yarn is perfectly scrumptious, the colors oh so blue, the texture oh so soft. Just perfect as a baby sweater. I'm hoping to finish it this week and send it off - and Charlie! - to its intended recipient who just arrived a week ago. He's my high school buddy's first child (and in some weird way I feel like he's my first child too?), and his name is Tate. Tate. Love that name.
